Monika Hanych is a lawyer specialising in human rights, freedom of expression and new technologies. She is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Constitutional Law and Political Science at Masaryk University. She has worked in the Office of the Government Commissioner for Representation of the Czech Republic before the European Court of Human Rights and the Office of the Public Defender of Rights. She leads the Czech delegation to the Council of Europe Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, where she negotiates future international regulation in this area.
