Transmedia artist and researcher

Weronika Zalewska is a transmedia artist, researcher, poet and student at the Netherlands Institute of the Arts. Her main areas of interest are feminist materialism, toxic embodiments and feminist and decolonial perspectives on human and multi-human biopolitics. She is interested in the development of experimental languages that can help deepen understanding of multi-human entanglements. She is also interested in video art as a means of telling stories of varying scale and porosity at the intersection of documentary, speculative fiction, geoanthropology, and critical science studies. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, BWA Dizajn in Wrocław, Arsenał Gallery in Białystok and the Vilnius Biennial of Performing Arts.
