Hana Řičicová works at the Czech Radio station Radio Wave, where she hosts the podcast Vlna about society, culture, and pop culture. As a PhD student at the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, she focuses on the exploitation and precarization of Czech journalism. She is a co-founder of the association Women in Media and is involved in the initiative You Can’t Pay Rent with Enthusiasm, which focuses on raising awareness of the working conditions of cultural journalists and on their organizing.
