Jan Bittner is co-author of the regional economics and entertainment podcast Škrty. He teaches at the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics and works as a labour market analyst. In the past, he served as an economic analyst and later as an advisor to Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka. He has also been involved in developing the concept of a decent minimum living wage for a number of years.
