Tereza Stöckelová is a senior researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences and teaches at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University. She specializes in social studies of science, technology, and medicine. In her current research, she develops the concept of expanded metabolism and examines new, technologically mediated forms of biosociality and Anthropocene technologies. She serves as the Vice-Chair of the World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST), an advisory body to UNESCO. She regularly writes editorials for the magazine A2. 

Her project, The Culture of Ozempic (Kultura Ozempicu), is part of Matchmaking.
