Vladimíra Dvořáková is a professor of political science and, since 2020, director of the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Her current work focuses on corruption, the functioning of supervisory institutions, and state capacity. In 2009, she received the Pelikán Award, presented by the editors of Listy magazine for contributions to political culture and dialogue, and in 2012, she received the František Kriegl Award for civic courage, presented by the Charter 77 Foundation.
