The “Dělníci kultury” (Workers of Culture) podcast from weekly magazine Respekt offers up regular interviews about how the world of art, media, and cultural politics is changing – and what that says about us. In a live recording in Jihlava, the editor trio formed by Jindřiška Bláhová, Pavel Turek and Jan H. Vitvar will engage in debates about current cultural events, trends, and controversial moments on the Czech scene. With irony, insight, and a sense of context, Workers of Culture will attempt to prove that it is possible to talk about culture with passion and precision, and that works of art are driven not only by work, but also by emotion and social responsibility.
