Daniela Brill Estrada (CO/AT) is an artist and researcher from Bogotá, currently living and working in Vienna. Her artistic work focuses on the origin of life research, astrobiology, and the trajectories of different chemical elements. In her installations and research, Daniela shows matter that mutates, changes and interacts, to challenge taxonomies, disciplines, and categories. Daniela studied transdisciplinary arts and art & science at the University for Applied Arts Vienna, and fine arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She is currently an artist in residence at the SETI Institute and at Coalesce (University at Buffalo), and a PhD candidate at the Art X Science School for Transformation. Daniela adores geology, sharks and chaos.
