Jan Bělíček is a literary critic and journalist. He is the editor-in-chief of the online Deník Alarm publication, which he co-founded in 2013. He hosts the literary podcast TL;DR, the podcast talk show Kolaps, and the video show Studio Alarm. He is also the author of the essay collection V chapadlech murmuru o současné literatury (In the Tentacles of Murmur: On Contemporary Literature).
