Jana Karasová is a reporter for Czech Radio, where she covers politics, social issues, and crises in the Czech Republic and abroad. She studied war and conflict, driven by her interest in the lives of people affected by warfare. She has reported from Ukraine, the flooded Jeseník region, and the U.S. elections. She is also the host of the podcast Bruselské chlebíčky (Brussels Sandwiches).
