Johana has collaborated with both the official and alternative theater scenes since 2000. In theater, she appears as an actress, improviser, writer, musician, and singer. She was named "Discovery of the Year" at the "Příští vlna" festival in 2007. She regularly collaborates with Czech Radio as an author and director of radio plays and as a composer of original music. In 2009, Johana began studying at FAMU. During her studies, she filmed several short films. One of them, "Ahoj, mám se dobře" (Hi, I'm Doing Fine), won several awards: "Best Documentary" - Fresh Film Fest 2014, "Best Direction" - Poitiers IFF, and "Best Documentary" - FIDÉ 2014 in Paris. In 2016, she received the "Special Jury Prize" for the short film The Process at Febiofest SK and awards for Best Film and Best Direction at FAMUFEST for her film "Černý dort" (Black Cake). She works as a curator at the National Film Archive.
