Kateřina Lišková is an associate professor, scientist, and one half of the comedy duo Duo docentky (Duo of Associate Proffesors). She works at the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where she researches healthcare for women and children under socialism. Her research on sexuality and gender in communist Czechoslovakia has led to several award-winning English-language publications. Together with Lucie Jarkovská, she has performed as Duo docentky since 2019, using stand-up comedy to popularize feminism, gender and sexuality. Their collaboration goes back to the 1990s, when they co-founded the Gender Studies program at Masaryk University. In 2023, they published the book Feministkou snadno a rychle (Becoming a Feminist: Easy and Fast), named Book of the Year by Deník N.
