Oldřich Hudeček studied organic synthesis and supramolecular chemistry at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, and the University of Burgundy in Dijon, where he defended his doctoral thesis in 2017. Even before his defense, he began studying the chemical biology of nucleic acids under the supervision of Dr. Hana Cahová at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Since 2021, he has been working as a science communicator in the communications department of the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Thanks to this position and more than a decade of scientific background, he is familiar with a wide range of research topics at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. During his career, he has also managed to establish many valuable contacts beyond the institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
