Oleksii Reznikov is a Ukrainian lawyer, negotiator, and former Minister of Defense of Ukraine (2021–2023). Previously, he served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories and, before that, as Deputy Mayor of Kyiv. In 2004, he was a member of Viktor Yushchenko's legal team, which proved the falsification of the presidential election results in the Supreme Court. Reznikov is considered one of Ukraine's best negotiators and was the deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation at the Minsk talks. He also works as a teacher and in 2024 became a member of the GLOBSEC think tank. He regularly lectures at universities around the world, including Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. He has received numerous international awards for his work, including from the presidents of Lithuania and Poland.
