She has long been engaged with art as a tool for social change, art in public space, and collective practices based on cross-disciplinary collaboration. She was a recipient of the Fulbright-Masaryk Fellowship for the non-profit sector in New York and has participated in several international artistic and curatorial residencies. Šárka holds a PhD from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2025). Until 2024, she served as the chief curator of the Pardubice City Gallery – GAMPA, and she is actively involved in the project OFFCITY, which focuses on art in public space.
