Táňa Dluhošová is a research fellow at the Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. From 2015 to 2017, she served as the director of the Research Center of the Oriental Institute at Academia Sinica in Taiwan. In collaboration with Dr. Alvin C. H. Chen (National Taiwan Normal University), she recently obtained two joint grants (Czech Academy of Sciences – MOST, Czech Science Foundation – MOST). In 2011, she received the 2nd prize in the Young Scholar Award organized by the European Association of Taiwan Studies, as well as the Annual Prize of the French-Taiwanese Cultural Foundation of the French Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, in recognition of her contribution to a better understanding of Taiwan in Central and Eastern Europe.
