Viliam Vala is a filmmaker, a film teacher, and a certified NLP coach. He studied film and animation directing at Swinburne University and at the Victorian College of the Arts at the University of Melbourne. He has worked on several documentary films for Czech Television. As an animator, he contributed to two feature film – Myši patří do nebe (Even Mice Belong in Heaven) (2021) and Život k sežrání (Living Large) (2024). He also makes his own films, which now include five short animated films and two live-action ones. For many years, he worked as an editor on live-action and animated films, TV programs, and current affairs productions. He currently teaches film to international students at FAMO and at secondary art schools.
