Zdeněk Veit has been the chief editor of ČTK (Czech New Agency) news since 2018. He began working at ČTK in 2003. From 2009 to 2013, he served as a correspondent in the USA. He also has experience from Czech Television and the media house CNC. After returning to ČTK, he has been involved, in addition to coordinating editorial work, in AI projects and media education.
