Digital maps do more than show us how to get from point A to point B. They also determine which restaurants we find, which routes we take, and which parts of a city we see at all. How do algorithms decide what appears on our maps, and how do those decisions reshape the physical world? This discussion will connect digital platforms with cartography and the ways we perceive and read maps. What happens when a map stops merely representing the world and starts organizing it?
