After the recent elections, it has once again become clear that trust in the state and its institutions remains one of the most crucial issues in Czech society. A presentation on what can make a state “function well” – how people’s expectations of the state are changing, what they want from it, and which reforms can strengthen public trust. The presentation draws on current data and the experience of the organizations Česko, funguj! and the Centre for Public Finance.
