Amálie Kovářová graduated in Directing from FAMO in Písek. After graduation, she began collaborating with the Czech Academy of Sciences, where she filmed numerous short documentaries. For Czech Television, she filmed travel documentaries for the show Na cestě (On the Road) and the children's educational program Zvěd. She authored the comic TGM. 

Her project, Space. Infinite. Mysterious. (Vesmír. Nekonečný. Tajuplný.), is part of Matchmaking.
