Barbora Vegrichtová is an academic at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) and simultaneously a lecturer of educational courses for teachers, social workers, and other helping professions, members of security forces, municipal police, and the general public. She is the founder of the educational center Academy of a Resilient and Safe Society. She has published numerous professional articles and books on these topics. She collaborates with security forces and helping professions as a security consultant and appears in the media. She is a member of international organizations dealing with radicalization, terrorism, active shooter attacks, and criminal symbology. She lectures at domestic and foreign conferences, participates in research in this field, and studies new trends and phenomena as well as possibilities for effective prevention of extreme violence and other social pathologies.
