Julie Nekola Nováková graduated in Evolutionary Biology from the Faculty of Science, Charles University. She teaches part of the course Foundations of Astrobiology and is intensively involved in the popularization of this field. She is also a member of the European Astrobiology Institute and the Europlanet Society. Beside her research, she dedicates her time to popularization and education at the Institute of Physics of the CAS (e.g., the comic Secrets of the Nanoworld, the exhibition Image of an Image, FZU Theater Days, and other projects).
