René Kubášek is a cultural diplomat and documentary photographer who is also responsible for international relations at the Ji.hlava IDFF. Before joining Ji.hlava, he worked as a diplomat and also served as Director of the Czech Centre in Bucharest. Alongside his work in cultural diplomacy, he is a documentary photographer whose work has been exhibited in the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as an occasional DJ.
