Political power does not stop at Parliament and government ministries. Economic interests, lobbying, and personal ties to decision-makers also shape legislation, public procurement, state-owned companies, and appointments to key institutions. Where do these invisible channels of power lead, and how do they work in practice? Who gets a seat at the table, and who is left standing outside? And where is the line between legitimate advocacy and a situation in which private influence begins to bend public institutions to serve private interests?
