Hybrid warfare is being waged both on the front lines and in our homes, smartphones, and minds. Its goal is not to occupy territory, but to destroy trust. The goal is to convince us that no one and nothing can be trusted. Disinformation, manipulative algorithms, and targeted campaigns undermine social cohesion from within, weakening key democratic institutions and turning differing opinions into hostility. Radicalization then begins inconspicuously in everyday communication, sharing, and quiet alienation. But how can we defend ourselves against an attack we cannot see? How can we strengthen society's immune system and reflect this in education, the functioning of institutions, and forms of communication?
